Psychotherapist
NY
Hi there, I'm Brittany! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor focused on perinatal and postpartum mental health. I help women navigate postpartum anxiety, mood changes, relationship stress, and the pressure to “hold it all together.” Therapy with me is a space where you can speak openly about what you’re really feeling without judgment. My focus I support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and major life transitions. I help with anxiety, depression, grief, and identity shifts. I especially support women of color who feel unseen. My goal is for every woman to feel empowered, confident, and live boldly—like her life is a love letter to herself. My approach I bring a unique blend of therapeutic skill and real world resources of support. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in mental health as a care coordinator, which mean I naturally think about my clients from an intersectionality lens. I'm always looking for resaources, tools, and supports that can help clients gain more stability. My communication style My communication style is warm, collaborative, and grounding. I listen deeply, validate your experience, and offer gentle but clear guidance. I help women feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow with confidence. My journey to mental healthcare I became a provider because I’ve always been drawn to women’s stories—how they navigate identity, relationships, motherhood, grief, and emotional overwhelm. I saw how often women feel unheard or pressured to “be strong,” even when they’re struggling. My path into perinatal and women’s mental health grew from a desire to create safe spaces. My goals for you I help clients reach their goals by combining emotional support with practical tools. We clarify what they want to change, explore barriers, and build skills in communication, boundaries, and emotional regulation. My approach helps women feel grounded, empowered, and capable of creating the life they want.
