My journey to mental healthcare My journey to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a lifelong interest in human development and a passion for supporting others. I began my career in special education, where I had the privilege of working with children and families in both middle school and preschool settings. Over the years, I expanded my experience by working in hospital environments as well, which gave me a deeper understanding of the many ways people grow, heal, and adapt through life’s challenges. Through these experiences, I discovered how much I enjoy connecting with people, listening to their stories, and helping them identify and achieve their goals.
