Psychologist
CA
Hi there, I'm Cathy! I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology. I also have a master’s degree in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary and specialized training in the integration of Christian faith and psychology. Spirituality or Christian faith is completely optional in our sessions. It’s your choice. My focus Adults, teens, and couples facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, trauma, transitions, or feeling stuck. We explore family patterns and unconscious dynamics in depth-oriented therapy. Optional dream work. Secular or faith-integrated. CBT when helpful. Lasting awareness, esteem, and connection. Evenings/weekends, in person or virtual. My approach I explore how relationship patterns from the family you grew up in can show up in your life now — including past trauma and dynamics that may be repeating unconsciously. I also have specialized training in dream analysis & draw from methods like CBT when they would be helpful. You can choose a secular or faith-integrated approach. My communication style Warm, collaborative, and direct. I listen closely and move at your pace—no pressure to perform or find the “right” words. We explore patterns with curiosity, not judgment. I follow your lead on a secular or faith-integrated approach and include dream work only when it feels meaningful. Clear, grounded, and respectful of what you bring.
