About Dr. Chad Dortu

Chad began his journey at West Chester University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in athletic training. Chad then graduated from Widener University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Chad has experience working with all types of patient populations including but not limited to sports/work-related injuries, post-surgical cases, as well as neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke and concussions. Chad loves working with athletes, weightlifters, and weekend warriors to support health, wellness, and optimal performance across the age span. He is a firm believer that everyone of all ages can tap into their athletic and competitive spirit to overcome adversity or hardship at any stage of life. Chad currently resides in Mays Landing with his wife, daughter, and two golden retrievers.

My Dr. appt for shoulder was on a Friday. so it was convenient to schedule my PT appt on line over the weekend. I appreciated the PT therapist understood my need to get in as many treatments as possible to alleviate the pain/burning in my upper left shoulder because of a trip I have in two weeks. It was great to get an evaluation and session in same day. Also to be given stretches to do at home. It was my first time at DeRosa PT and it couldn’t have gone better.
