Hi there, I'm Charlotte! Emotional pain as well as stress are part of the human experience. Sometimes finding our way to center and calm seems impossible, but it is not. You deserve to have a full and happy life. Mental health recovery is truly possible for everyone. With a healing partnership we will find the way to your optimal self, achieving your goals for wellness. My focus If you are ready for change, I am ready to help. If you have gotten to a point where you have tried what you can to make changes you want in your life but cannot seem to move forward, or let go, or maybe it is overcoming trauma/loss or stuck in worry. It is never easy, but with work and effort it always possible to heal and overcome. My approach I offer 18 years of clinical experience in helping people develop skills and tools to address any emotional barriers that you may have in your life. We will focus on what is holding you back from an optimal life. We will collaboratively decide your path, and by using different evidence based therapy approaches we will cultivate hope in the future. My communication style I see therapy as a collaboration. You know your life better than anyone, and I come to you with experience in helping people heal and recover. Together we will make sure we are working on the right problem, choose a path toward healing that you are comfortable with, and we will work our way to your goals. My journey to mental healthcare I know that mental health recovery works, because that is what brought me to becoming a psychologist. My own therapy helped build my belief in recovery possible for everyone. My extensive work with trauma survivors helped me see that we all have the ability to overcome and heal. Resilience flourishes when we have the right help and support. My goals for you Often we know what to do, but we do not know how to do it. Or maybe we don't feel strong enough, wise enough or that we deserve a different outcome or feeling.
