Psychotherapist
VA
In my experience, I have learned that “hitting rock bottom” does not mean the end of your life, but rather a chance to rebuild your life the way you want it. Life can get stressful and often leave one “suffocating” from the pressure. It is in those moments that you need someone to stand in the chaos with you or help you rebuild. I empower clients to regain control and find balance in their lives. We'll work together to change your perspective about the situations that are making you feel stuck and identify new ways to address them. Whether you are experiencing some lows in your life, seeking healing from trauma, or wanting to be a better version of yourself, I'll meet you where you are and provide you with the tools you need to achieve your goals. I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Regent University, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to support you effectively on your journey.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients can expect to be heard and have a safe space to be honest with themselves without fear of judgement. I find that providing tasks to be completed outside of session helps clients stay motivated. I also like to interact with my clients and provide honest feedback if they desire

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Sometimes my clients have something specific they want to address and sometimes they do not. That is why I offer structured and unstructured sessions. Structured sessions include tools, discussions, or deep dives into goal related topics for those unsure days, while unstructured allows freedom to choose the topic or direction. This ensures that you are always heard and in control of your experience.
