About Dr. Christopher Guiang

CJ Guiang is a board-certified Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapist whose focus centers on integrating exercise, manual therapy, and data-informed rehabilitation to optimize movement and facilitate a return to activity or sport. CJ is a career-changer who started in music and entertainment and pursued physical therapy after watching physical therapists on television guide an injured football player through rehabilitation. He later followed his passion for sports and rehabilitation working for the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G-League and the New York Liberty of the WNBA while attending the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Dominican University of New York. Aiming to elevate his practice, CJ then completed the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at Temple University in Philadelphia and graduated from the Fellowship in Sports and Orthopaedic Manual Therapy with the Institute for Athlete Regeneration. CJ continues to pursue his interests in orthopaedics and sports today. He recently served as Team Physical Therapist with Unrivaled Basketball and Rutgers University Rowing and treated youth athletes at the Hospital for Special Surgery Young Athlete Center. CJ currently works at StarPro Physical Therapy in New Rochelle, New York treating patients at the North Avenue clinic and athletes at Iona University.
