About Colby D. Balls

I am a physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and spine. I am a physical therapist who has been practicing since 2018. I grew up in Cache Valley in Hyde Park and currently reside there with my family. I became interested in pursuing a career in physical therapy after I had an opportunity to volunteer in a physical therapy clinic and observe the meaningful impact therapy can have in restoring movement and function. I am passionate about helping people of all ages accomplish their personal goals and maximize their functional capacity and physical potential. I find joy in working with local high school athletes, helping them return to play in their respective sports. I treat a diverse patient population with orthopedic conditions, and specialize in spine rehabilitation, treating acute and chronic pain. I am an avid outdoorsman and love riding my horses in the mountains of Logan Canyon. I am passionate about hunting and enjoy spending time in the fall months hunting in Utah and surrounding states. I enjoy fishing the many lakes and streams Cache Valley has to offer. I can be found cheering on Utah State athletics in the fall and winter months and enjoy attending both football and basketball games with my family.
