About Courtney Thompson
Courtney Thompson knew she wanted to become a physical therapist in high school, when she discovered her passion for helping people through service projects with school, community programs, and dance in Staten Island. During her time at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, Courtney worked in pediatric rehabilitation programs in the school, inpatient, and Early Intervention settings, in addition to gaining experience with orthopedic outpatient, acute care, and long-term care populations. Her diverse clinical exposure has given her the tools to develop personalized care plans to help patients accomplish their unique goals. Courtney enjoys treating patients of all ages, from infancy to older adulthood, with varying diagnoses. During her free time, she appreciates spending time with family and friends, baking, reading, and exercising outdoors.

Courtney is a very sweet therapist. She is concise when explaining things, and she is very caring. She pays close attention to make sure you are doing exercises correctly. She gave me pictures to do the workouts at home.

We had a wonderful experience working with Courtney. When my son first started physical therapy, he was hesitant and didn’t want to go. Courtney was incredibly kind, patient, and warm from the very beginning. She took the time to explain everything in a way that made him feel comfortable and involved, and before long, he actually looked forward to each session. Thanks to her persistence, encouragement, and skill, he has grown so much stronger and has developed noticeably better balance and coordination. Courtney’s personable and professional approach made all the difference — we’re so grateful for her care and support!
