Hi there, I'm Daisy! Hello, my name is Daisy Obetsanov, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. Therapy is hard work, and having a therapist who does not judge an “alternative” lifestyle, should you have one, truly helps. The last thing you need to be worried about is my judgment of you. My approach I am both a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. I have embraced my doctoral education with my training in trauma-focused mental health and lots of experience working with folks from unique walks of life. I believe these three things, plus my kind heart and sense of humor, make me a great therapist for people struggling to seek out the care they need for fear of being judged or misunderstood. My focus I work with adults who want individual psychotherapy. I do not provide family or couples therapy. My communication style Understanding and love are at the center of my practice of psychotherapy. I work with the heart. Life is an amazing and rewarding experience that often stimulates powerful, challenging stressors. Therapy provides strategies and tools for addressing these unique situations. I am client-centered, enthusiastic, and hopeful. My lived experience in various subcultures reflects my nonjudgmental stance. My journey to mental healthcare . My goals for you I believe in you. Most people share with me that they like having a therapist who sees them for who they are today and can help them create a vision and path for where they want to go and help them develop tools to become the person they have always dreamed of being.
