Getting to know Dr. Dale Singh

Dr. Singh is NJ and NY licensed psychologist, who provides psychotherapy and conducts psychological evaluations and assessments. Dr. Singh completed his doctoral degree at the University of Saint Elizabeth, Morritown NJ. He completed his clinical internship at Torrance State Hospital, a state psychiatric facility outside of Pittsburg, PA. He has also completed clinical work in multiple settings, including community based clinics and at private and public hospitals. Additionally, Dr. Singh provides clinical supervision to psychologists and Psychiatry residents. Dr. Singh offers individualized, compassionate, and thoughtful psychotherapy that recognizes the value of culture, diversity, intersectionality, and creativity.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I provide a warm and welcoming therapeutic space emphasizing trust, safety, empathy, genuineness, and acceptance. Our work will be collaborative, encouraging your personal growth. I am integrative therapist, influenced by humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and interpersonal approaches. My work have had successful outcomes with people facing life transitions, mood related concerns, trauma, grief and identity development. I have special interest in working with people of color, immigrants and queer people.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Person centered approach, tailored to your concerns, safety and life goals. I offer a complimentary 15 minute consultation with goal to you understanding my approach and goodness of fit. I you chose to work together, all sessions are 45 minutes focusing on your goals.
