*PLEASE NOTE: Insurances must be PPO/POS PLANS. I am an out-of-network provider but I submit all documentation and do all billing so you won't have to send in receipts. I hold a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida. I help my patients listen to themselves by exploring the conflicts and sources of tension they encounter while navigating between their internal experience and the outside world. Together, we work to identify, confront, and better understand those parts of you that are both conscious and unconscious, so you may gain more agency in authoring your life.
My goal in treatment is to provide you with the space, time, comfort, affordability, and safety to begin this conversation with yourself, enabling you to enact lasting change in your life.

David is patient and understanding, and never judgemental or pushy. He prods when he can sense he needs to, but knows when to back off. He is knowledgable and clear but never comes off as distant or clinical. He is flexible and communicative about scheduling and timing, striving to find solutions that work for everyone. He offers helpful advice and anecdotes without even being prescriptive.

Thanks to David Young, therapy has been one of the most positive impacts on my life; both in helping me through the issues that brought me to him in the first place, and in helping me to discover the kind of person that I want to be moving foward. David’s approach to therapy allows you to figure out the causes and solutions to you problems on your own and I could not recommend his practice more highly.

Knowledgeable and patient, I would recommend him to anyone with anxiety issues, whether it’s generalized or related to a specific issue. I went through many therapists before finding the right fit and I’m glad to have found David.
