My name is Diana Moncada, and I am a licensed social worker who earned my master’s in social work degree from Syracuse University. I draw from evidence-based approaches such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, mindfulness, exposure therapy, solution focused therapy and Art therapy to support clients in their journey towards achieving their mental health goals. My areas of expertise include anxiety, social anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, boundary setting, grief, body image and chronic pain.

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, client centered and strengths based.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

For our first session, I focus on creating a safe, supportive and non-judgmental space where clients can share their concerns and goals at their own pace. Collaboratively we will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your personal history, and identify current challenges in your life.
