I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY508957) with a passion for helping individuals heal from psychological trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. I hold a PsyD in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. I specialize in treating trauma-related disorders such as PTSD, complex trauma, and childhood trauma. My approach to therapy is grounded in relational psychotherapy, which focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship with you to facilitate healing and growth. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to create a safe and supportive environment for you to explore your past experiences, process your emotions, and develop healthier coping mechanisms. In addition, I practice Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy approach proven effective in treating trauma-related disorders. EMDR helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences by accessing and reprocessing distressing memories. I have a strong desire to increase access to EMDR and thus supervise clinicians looking to develop their expertise in EMDR treatment. I also offer EMDR trainings to licensed clinicians. I am known for my ability to create a nonjudgmental and inclusive space for patients to work through their presenting concerns. I am dedicated to helping people heal and regain a sense of empowerment and control in their lives. My integration of EMDR and relational psychotherapy provides a comprehensive and effective treatment approach for a variety of mental health concerns.
