Hello! I am Dr. Efrain Zepeda, a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California. Over the past 23 years as a mental health professional, one important lesson I have learned is that the most powerful therapeutic intervention is found in the interpersonal connection that occurs in the client-therapist relationship. Together, we can analyze the past to co-create new meaning with the goal of achieving healing. I strongly believe that therapy is not about labeling or judging, but rather about personal discovery. My approach Throughout these years, I have worked with individuals, families, and couples using an empathetic and compassionate approach. This has allowed them to pave the path toward self-growth, self-agency, and self-efficacy. I specialize in attachment dynamics, trauma-based conditions, and behavioral as well as cognitive challenges. I am a certified Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Practitioner and trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My focus I work with individuals who struggle with compulsions, emotional challenges, interpersonal impairments, and general psychosocial stressors. My communication style I create a safe environment where the client is able to feel understood, non-judged, and valued.
