About Elijah C. Gilmore

I am a physical therapist practicing outpatient orthopedics and specialize in post-operative rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, general ortho, spine care, and running related injuries. Since 2022, I have been dedicated to building personal relationships with my patients, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their goals. I utilize manual therapy, exercise prescription, education, and trigger point dry needling to address a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. I earned my undergraduate degree from The University of Georgia and my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from Emory and Henry College, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. Originally from southern Georgia, I have also lived in Virginia and North Carolina before moving to Utah to be closer to the mountains and outdoor activities. In our free time, my wife and I enjoy hiking, skiing, traveling, biking, and camping. I am an avid runner and trail runner and frequently train for long-distance events such as marathons and ultramarathons. This personal experience allows me to empathize with the challenges of injury and the journey of rebuilding strength and conditioning to the activities we love.
