“Liz has been immensely in working through both the struggles of daily life and larger mental obstacles that previously held me back from making progress and reaching my goals. She is consistently kind, patient, and attentive—making sure to revisit topics from previous conversations that need more attention. She also knows when to challenge your current thinking to ensure you don’t linger in a mental state that doesn’t serve you and the people around you. Would definitely recommend Liz!”

I've been seeing Liz for over a year now! She's helped me navigate big life changes as well as given me tools to help manage my anxiety. She is extremely kind and thoughtful, and I always feel comfortable during our sessions. I believe my mental health has improved since starting my sessions with her.
I've been having sessions with Liz for about 1.5 years now and I really appreciate the care she takes with me as a patient. She's empathetic, thoughtful in her responses, and helps me put language to experiences I'm having / feeling and provides resources for addressing concerns. I appreciate being able to speak with Liz regularly and how much space she gives me to unpack things that we can work through together.
Elizabeth was always very helpful in times that were challenging in my life. Her counceling was well adivsed. Highly recommend!I feel more confident than ever; now equipped with the right tools to remain in the best mental health I can be.
Great therapist, always professional and respectful. Through her knowledge and experience, Liz is able to normalize difficult relationships and experiences to create positive life changes
Liz has been extremely helpful to me navigate day to day life, as well as big life issues & changes. She is incredibly kind and thoughtful in our conversations, and gives tons of excellent practical advice on how to navigate challenges and anxiety. I feel so much better equipped to deal with my life after our sessions!
As a relative newcomer to talk therapy, Dr. Bauman has helped me find a number of new tools and skills to help me navigate the bouts of anxiety and depression I have dealt with my whole life. Overall, I feel my mental health has improved since I first started with Dr. Bauman.
Elizabeth is wonderful - she is patient, compassionate, empathetic, and also clear and direct when needed. I saw other therapists that helped with more acute issues, but I felt that I wasn't able to speak freely and dive into "unrelated" thoughts/feelings as they came up during our sessions. This is not the case at all with Elizabeth! She clearly pays attention, is insightful, and offers a safe space for learning and self-growth.
MY initial 2 appointments with Elizabeth were a mediocre/fine and underwhelming. That said, I understand therapy takes time and so I attended a second session. The judgemental faces that Elizabeth demonstrates during her sessions are noticeable and palpable. After only 2 sessions, she claimed I was not a right fit for her without her even knowing. If you want a therapist you can connect with who has experience and good demeanor, definitely do not see Elizabeth Bauman.
