What should a new client know about working with you?

A bit about my approach to therapy... My style is relational, warm, collaborative and direct. I aim to create a space where clients feel both deeply seen and gently challenged. I approach therapy as a collaborative process, rooted in mutual respect and trust. I draw from evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, trauma-informed care, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy along with strong emphasis on PsychoEducation and insight work, depending on what best supports the individual. I tailor treatment to each individual, considering their unique history, goals, and cultural context. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, interpersonal struggles, building effective communication skills, conquering burnout (especially in caregiving and work/professional roles), developing strong coping skills, assisting in life transitions, and identity-related stress. I’m especially passionate about helping clients unlearn patterns shaped by dysfunctional family systems, experiences or stemmed from problematic dynamics. Whether we’re working on symptom relief or deeper healing, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner clarity, agency, and self-worth.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

What you can expect from our first session: Patients can expect to leave sessions with increased insight, practical coping strategies, and a clearer understanding of their emotional patterns and underlying needs. My goal is to help individuals not only reduce distressing symptoms but also develop a more compassionate and empowered relationship with themselves with the development of strong and effective coping skills. Through our work together, patients often report feeling more grounded, emotionally regulated, and better equipped to navigate relationships, boundaries, and life transitions. Whether addressing acute concerns or engaging in deeper, long-term healing, I aim to support sustainable growth, resilience, and lasting change. Elizabeth's style is: Open-minded Solution-oriented Warm
