My focus I work with a diverse population aged 13 and above navigating anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, and difficult life transitions. My communication style I see myself as the lady with a flashlight accompanying you on part of your life journey. My role is to shine a light on things that may impact your path so we can examine them together and determine their appropriateness for where you are headed. My journey to mental healthcare I knew I wanted to be a psychologist since 2nd grade. I have always been fascinated by how experiences shape our perceptions and navigation of life. Driven by the healing power of connection and communication, I strive to provide a space for personal learning, growth, and empowerment. My education includes a PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Southern California Seminary, a Master's in Psychology from Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor's degree from San Diego State University. My goals for you My approach to goal setting is client-centered. I believe goals are driven by the client and supported by the therapeutic process. My first session with you During the first session, the goal is to learn what brings you to therapy and establish an initial therapeutic alliance. I will ask, ?What brings you here today?? and provide opportunities for any questions about what to expect moving forward.
