About Ellen Naiman Michaels

Ellen Naiman Michaels is a seasoned NY Licensed Physical Therapist at Professional Physical Therapy in Northport. She has worked over 30 years in private practice and rehab before joining Professional Physical Therapy. Ellen holds a Master's in Physical Therapy from Lander College for Women (Touro University). She has experience treating multiple patient populations, including outpatient orthopedic, subacute, chronic, post-joint replacements, post-surgical, home care, geriatrics, balance problems, and patients who are deconditioned. Ellen personalizes care for each individual patient to help them regain the skills needed to function safely in their home and community. She takes an interest in comforting her patients and assesses all of their needs while helping them achieve their goals. Some of Ellen's interests outside of work are gardening and house plants, scrapbooking, soccer, working out, and she has a love for animals.

Treated for a right knee replacement at Proffessional Physical Therapy, Ft. Salonga Road, Northport, NY . Ellen Michaels was the best! She’s excellent at physical therapy, and has a very lovely personality. She was a great help to me. I have recommended her to several of my friends. My knee replacement feels wonderful!
