Physical Therapist
216 Old Tappan Rd, Old Tappan, NJ
Evan O’Brien had an active childhood in Rockland County, NY, participating in Soccer, Tennis and Baseball. His greatest remembrance is traveling across the country participating in Gaelic football tournaments. At a young age, Evan was enthusiastic when it came to science and medicine. At that time, he knew his passion for learning and science would lead him somewhere in his adult life. Evan attended Stony Brook University, earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology and then went on to Long Island University where he earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After being diagnosed with chronic knee pain, Evan experienced firsthand what it was like to overcome an injury and return to doing the things he loved. His experience inspired him to explore the field of physical therapy, where he can facilitate a positive recovery experience for his patients and foster his passion for learning and science. Evan particularly enjoys treating both knee and shoulder injuries; although, he is happy treating all types of injuries. Through continual communication with his patients, Evan establishes attainable goals during every stage of the rehabilitation process and customizes every therapy program for the individual patient. In addition to spending time with family and friends, in his spare time Evan travels, experiencing new cultures. Recreationally, Evan continues to play tennis and has began working on his golf swing. As a lifelong New York Jets and Yankees fan, he takes the time to cheer on his teams, attending games every year.
