Getting to know Gina Strappini

Hello, I'm Gina and a strong believer that therapy certainly is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. In this process, discussing your own individual, unique journey without judgment, bias, coercion, or assumption can be a way to ensure you feel you are on the path YOU are consciously choosing. That might mean straying away from a path that was inherited and forging a new, potentially unfamiliar path. As a firm believer and experienced facilitator of the therapeutic process, I'm interested to support clients in discovering what this unique journey looks like for each person. Just as we are all inherently unique individuals, so too will the process be individual and unique. I feel very fortunate to have been witness to the empowering and powerful process of leaning into change. I've seen clients' ability to (re)gain what may have been lost along the way, which can often be a consequence of very necessary survival skills that may have gotten us through life thus far. It might mean (un)learning patterns in our lives that are no longer serving us. If we are still alive and breathing, we have learned how to survive, but are we now truly living the life that we ultimately are choosing to live? I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have varied and extensive experience working with clients facing the gamut of what life can present us with. This includes anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship issues, self-confidence, burnout, and more. I think of my role first and foremost as an ally. I'm a skilled practitioner who utilizes my expertise, education, and empathy to support you while working to ensure you are where you want to be and around YOUR goals.
