She was wonderful. Prior to our first session she gave me a call to gather background information. I found that this allowed us to have a productive and healing first session.

Dr. Simons is very compassionate and very understanding. She listens very well and asks questions that really stop and make me think. She gives great "small step" suggestions which is very helpful because they aren't overwhelming. You leaveher office feeling like she really cares about you and your health. She will also give her perspective/view on things and that is very helpful, especially when reflecting on things you may have talked about. I look forward to continuing to work with Dr. Simons.

After seeing different therapists off an on for many years, I can honestly say that Doctor Simons provides one of the most comfortable yet extremely productive therapy spaces I have ever encountered. Every week I leave feeling heard, understoodand inspired to keep working toward my various goals. If you are looking for a therapist with a strong foundation in a variety of therapeutic approaches to help you grow and overcome or just searching for a safe space to let it all out, I would highly recommend making an appointment with Dr. Simons. Worth every penny.

I cannot express how highly I would recommend Dr. Simons. She immediately creates a welcoming, open, and judgment-free environment. I have met many psychologists, but never one I felt that I could be completely open and honest with until I startedseeing Dr. Simons. She has mastered the balance of challenging you to explore difficult thoughts and experiences while offering the support and compassion you need through the process. Unlike other experiences I have had in the past, Dr. Simons treats me as a unique multidimensional individual, rather than simply a diagnosis - she works with the whole person instead of focusing on only one problem. I have never once felt rushed in a session, and she is always actively present. I have really enjoyed working with her and can't even describe how much I have benefited from our sessions. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for support.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr.Simons. It’s not often you find a therapist that is willing to really work with you or often that you are excited to go see a therapist. Every time I was in her officeI felt welcomed, not ashamed to share and most of all safe. I was never one to share too much or to really tell the truth, but once I started to open up it became very clear that she would help. I’m one who likes an up front therapist, because I myself am upfront; Dr.Simons was up front up also knew when to stay behind. We worked on many areas of my mental health and with everyone I felt she had a great understanding of each one. I love that I got to work with a caring, dedicated therapist, and I would still be with her if it was not for my relocation. I recommend her to anyone struggling with all forms of mental health.
