About Dr. Isaac Carling

Isaac Steen Carling was born in Jerome, ID. He was raised in Idaho, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and Guam. He split time living in Saipan, Hawaii, Mongolia, and Utah. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Human Movement and Exercise Science from Utah State University – home of the Aggies! Isaac received his Doctoral degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. He tells us, “I have a few passions in life. My wife, my 3 boys, my faith, good cooking, and physical therapy. I began looking into physical therapy when my mom found great benefit from going to a physical therapist (PT) and told me that she thought I would make a great PT! I started shadowing a PT in Saipan and now, years later, working as a full time DPT I am happy to say that mother is always right!” Isaac has worked in neuro, pediatric, orthopedic, and sport physical therapy specialty clinics bringing an eclectic perspective to his patients’ functional recovery and pain reduction. Isaac and his family are excited to be in the Magic Valley and nearby surrounding locations where they can enjoy the great outdoors. If ever you are hungry during the summer months, stop by Isaac’s house because chances are that you will probably find him grilling some of his infamous marinated meats as well as other soul foods which originated from the islands.
