About Jackson Cervi

Jackson is originally from Pittsburgh, PA, but grew up in Kennesaw, GA. He attended the University of Georgia in Athens, GA as an undergraduate and obtained his B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science in 2017. He then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in Savannah, GA at Georgia Southern University in 2020. Jackson has a history of participating in competitive performing arts and sports throughout his life. In high school he was a captain in Kennesaw Mountain High School’s nationally recognized marching band, where he played the baritone. He then went on to join the University of Georgia’s rowing team where he competed in a variety of eight-man and four-man boating events. Some of Jackson’s primary interests in physical therapy include sport and performing arts medicine and during his clinical rotation in Athens, GA had the opportunity to work with NCAA Division 1 baseball players during their rehabilitation back to throwing. He also has worked with a variety of performing artists, primarily dancers, throughout their return to the stage. Peachtree Orthopedics welcomed Jackson to the Piedmont clinic in August of 2020. He plans to obtain his Dry Needling and Strength/Conditioning Specialist certifications soon and wants to focus on the rehab of active individuals. In his free time, Jackson enjoys playing disc golf, brewing kombucha, and running.
