About Jacky Chow

Jacky received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and has been practicing since 2021. Prior to dedicating his life to physical therapy, Jacky has spent over 7 years as a research assistant at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and Columbia University Medical Center where he performed extensive research in the area of schizophrenia. As a physical therapy student, Jacky's clinical experience include rotations at Bellevue Hospital, a level 1 trauma center in NYC and at NYU Rusk Rehabilitation where he helped rehabilitate patients with neurological conditions in an acute care setting. Jacky's interest is in orthopedic and sports physical therapy and is certified in blood flow restriction therapy. Jacky is a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and submission grappling and has practiced the art for over 8 years. As a practitioner and active competitor in the sport, Jacky is able to relate to athletes and understand their goals and their needs; not just to return to their respective sport, but excel at their craft. Jacky believes that one of the most satisfying aspects of being a physical therapist is to help his patients surpass their goals.
