Feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed? Therapy is a great place to pause, reset, and find your way back to yourself - with support that meets you exactly where you are. My approach My approach is trauma-informed, solution-focused, with psychoeducation and mindfulness intertwined throughout, and provides unbiased, quality care for my clients. I always want a client to feel supported and have a solid foundation by having their trauma addressed first, and gently, before moving on. My focus My ideal clients are adults 18+ facing an array of life challenges and mental health issues. I provide a safe and compassionate space to explore emotions, build coping skills, and foster healing through mindfulness, and trauma informed care to promote growth and resilience. My communication style My communication style is open and non-judgmental, creating a safe space for honest dialogue. I listen with empathy and care, offering support and understanding while being direct and clear when needed to encourage growth, insight, and meaningful progress. My journey to mental healthcare I have been an advocate in community mental health for nearly 20 years. I started out in group homes and care management, working my way up while obtaining two Master's Degrees. I have worked in Crisis and as a contractor for DOCCS while managing a Homeless shelter, all prior to becoming a clinician, giving me a very diverse background. My goals for you Together, we set clear, realistic goals. We check in at each appointment as to how we are doing on reaching our goals and if adjustments need to be made to them, or if they are obtainable longer. Then, through encouragement and consistent support, I empower my clients to stay focused and overcome setbacks and recognize their growth.
