About Jason Smith

Jason attended University of North Carolina-Wilmington and received a degree in physical Education with a concentration in exercise science. Then, he moved to University of North Carolina-Greensboro where he received a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology with research in the growth hormone response to sprint cycle training. Prior to physical therapy school, Jason produced running and triathlon events throughout the southeast. A former ultrarunner and hockey player, Jason enjoys treating foot and ankle injuries. He received his DPT from Mercer University and is currently a APTA certified clinical instructor. In his free time, he enjoys hiking with family, kayaking and golfing.
