About Dr. Jason Yang

At House of Physical Therapy, we treat active professionals who use exercise as their stress relief. We understand the fear of being told to rest, and that drives our treatment philosophy. Our average patient reports less pain within the first three sessions. Next, we target the underlying cause to prevent the pain from returning, then we stay with you as you transition back to the gym with full confidence! A note from Dr. Jason – My mission as a physical therapist is to help others understand their situation and their body better. With understanding, we can have clarity, hope, and optimism. Whether you are dealing with acute low back pain from lifting, that nagging shoulder injury that keeps popping up, or even uncertainty in your rehab journey—I am here to provide understanding. I believe that you are capable of running that race, setting that PR at the gym, or simply moving freely and without pain. I earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Along the way, I’ve gained clinical experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, orthopedic clinics, and even in patients’ homes! I am committed to a collaborative approach between the physical therapist and the patient. I aim to promote autonomy with those I work with in order to provide them with the tools necessary to continue engaging in the activities that are meaningful to them. I look forward to helping you find clarity and showing you how incredibly resilient your body is! Continued Education Courses: - StrongFirst Kettlebell Certificate, kettlebell-focused strength and conditioning - Bones, Tendons, and Whistles, strength and conditioning for runners and running analysis - First Principles of Movement, creating health changes through positive experiences with movement

Jason is very positive and informative about injuries. He shares his knowledge and advice when he can. He listens and answers all questions. The exercises in physical therapy are fun with him, which is so important. There is no judgment from him. I appreciate his intelligence and great advice. I would definitely recommend him for physical therapy!
Jason is hands down the best PT I’ve worked with. He listens, pays close attention to detail, and takes a holistic approach—fully focused the entire session, not just for a few minutes. He tailors treatment to how I feel that day, whether it’s targeted exercises or hands-on care, and always follows up to check in or provide guidance. Managing chronic pain can be tough, but his empathy, professionalism, and support make all the difference. Plus, he's just a great person, making PT something I actually look forward to as part of my self-care routine. Highly recommend!
I have been to physical therapy multiple times before in the past until I found Jason Yang! He is friendly, nice, welcoming, and very knowledgeable. He gave me exercises and stretches to help me heal and to be strong and healthy again!
I am really grateful that I got the opportunity to work with Jason. I went to hi after hip surgery and he made the recovery and pain much better and bearable. He is always there to answer questions or just provide support.
