Getting to know Jessica Trucillo

Hi there, I'm Jessica! Hello! My name is Jessica, and I am a psychotherapist here to help you learn more about yourself and live a more fulfilling life through telehealth therapy. I work primarily with young adults, adults, and teenagers. I specialize in anxiety and depression, as well as trauma and women's issues. I hold a Master?s degree in Forensic Mental Health Counseling from the City University of New York, John Jay College of Criminal Justice, which has equipped me with a unique perspective on mental health and trauma. My approach My approach to therapy focuses on helping clients learn more about themselves and empowering them to make changes that meet their needs. Clients can expect to feel more self-aware and at peace with themselves, gaining a greater understanding of their emotions and triggers. My focus I primarily work with young adults aged 20-35, who often struggle with anxiety, depression, and trauma disorders. This stage involves many transitions and important decisions. I help navigate these ambivalent times so individuals can move toward their goals. My communication style I prefer a relaxed environment when working with clients. You can expect me to be direct, personable, warm, and trusting. I want clients to feel comfortable talking about anything, as I listen without judgment. My journey to therapy My goal in becoming a therapist was always to help people. Growing up, many felt comfortable talking to me during difficult times and sharing their emotions. I realized I had natural strengths in listening and a passion for helping others. This career continues to fulfill me, confirming I made the right decision. My goals for you Clients can expect to feel more self-aware and at peace with themselves, developing a greater understanding of their emotions and triggers. Through therapy, I hope to help others feel more authentic and confident in themselves and how they choose to live their lives.
