“Honestly I'm the type of person that always questions the reviews, if they are real and how true they are, I always look for the bad reviews first, since I didn't find any I went with it, It's been almost two months now and I CAN'T speak highly enough of her. So if those aren't enough for you, just give her one simple visit and she'll change your mind. Professional, Welcoming, Caring, Advising, etc. She asks the questions that help you identify your the origin of your issues, and that step alone helps kickstart your recovery. ”

What should a new client know about working with you?

I have had many patients come to me, after having years of therapy, who report only partial relief. I have had a lot of success utilizing EMDR and other approaches to help them successfully address these ongoing challenges in an in depth and comprehensive way. I also have an understanding and respect for individuals who are engaged in holistic, alternative therapies and am happy to collaborate with outside healers.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I work collaboratively with each individual based on their needs and comfort level, and where they are in their healing journey; therefore, the structure of sessions will vary.

I have been working with Jodie since I was 13, she has helped me every step of the way of my recovery and has continued to do so as I am 18 now. She is awesome, she truly has helped me through the most challenging times of my life. Because of her and her guidance I feel capable in going on through life. I feel stronger and I know I have the tools to succeed.
I have been seeing Dr. Goldberg for almost a year and would highly recommend her to anyone struggling with depression & anxiety. During my sessions with her, she was caring, attentive, and always concerned with my well being. I found her methods highly effective and many friends and family have commented on my improved mood & more relaxed nature since I began seeing her. I cannot recommend her enough.
I have done a combination of psychotherapy and EMDR with Dr. Goldberg for about a year and a half. I feel like she's been a good fit for me because she is simultaneously smart, compassionate, kind and willing to challenge me just enough. While working with her I've stopped my lifelong habit of compulsive shopping, have a plan to get out of debt, and am minimizing my possessions. I'm also working on traumatic childhood issues and relationships. I believe this period of time using EMDR has yielded far better results than several years of talk therapy alone has been able to.
I appreciate Dr. Goldberg's use of the EMDR technique and her calm demeanor. Our visits are always efficient and helpful. It's like getting an emotional tune-up.
Dr. Jodie Goldberg was great with my daughter! She was nice, patient, flexible, and very helpful. She immediately helped us with our needs. We appreciate the help she provided us to help my daughter with her anxiety! I was worried to have my daughter start therapy, but Dr. Goldberg made us feel welcome and comfortable. It was a pleasure working with her!
Dr. Goldberg is very understanding and a good listener, unlike other therapists that I've seen, she met me where I was at emotionally. She offered different options/treatments until we found what worked for me. I really appreciate her kind nature.
