About John Wilbert
John trained in Neurology at Yale Rehab and has worked in multiple pediatric settings, but has focused those skills into a 15+ year NYC career in postural education, body mechanics, and surgery prevention. He holds a Master's in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College. Working via a system developed by the Institute of Physical Arts, he has also worked extensively in post-op orthopedic rehab in both athletic and general populations healing from rotator cuff and labral tears, cervical and lumbar pathology, and ACL tears. He is eager to learn and improve patient outcomes and speed their recovery, but understands the complex and sometimes psychological underpinnings of chronic pain. No one loves being injured-why make the process slow and mundane when it can be expeditious, informative, and dare we say fun?

I have had chronic back issues for the last 8 years and have seen countless doctors and physical therapists to try and get help. No one has ever helped me the way John has. He is absolutely brilliant and on top of that is truly kind. I could not recommend someone more highly.
