Jono Barker was born in Lander, Wyoming and grew up in Burley, Idaho. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Idaho State University. Jono has always had a love and appreciation for the complexity of the human body and how it works, which is what sparked his interest in physical therapy. He has furthered that passion by continuing on in his education to become certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (Cert. MDT) and is also an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS). Jono has a particular interest in orthopedic physical therapy, as well as sports medicine and rehabilitation which stems from his life-long interest in being active in sports and the outdoors. He also enjoys the opportunity being a physical therapist gives him to meet new people and make a difference in the community and in people’s lives. Jono and his wife Natasha have 3 beautiful children and they love spending time together as a family. When Jono is not in the clinic treating patients, he’s likely spending time with his family or participating in a variety of athletic activities, such as basketball, soccer, golf, racquetball or tennis. He also enjoys water and snow skiing, fishing, hunting, and playing the guitar.
