I received a Dual-Masters in Social Work and Addiction Studies with a Certificate in Palliative Care from Eastern Washington University. I approach therapy/counseling from a person-centered approach to better understand clients and build trust. This approach also allows us to better support clients with their current struggles. This allows us to focus on strengths, while empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and become their favorite version of themselves. I have experience working with adults who are seeking help with trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, grief and loss, depression, and addiction. I believe it is my role to assist individuals in building resilience, strengthening relationships, developing self-awareness and enhancing acceptance of self. I also assist with helping individuals in developing skills for mindfulness, distress tolerance and emotional regulation.
