Getting to know Dr. Julia Lockyer

My passion is working with college students and adults with a range of concerns such as: anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, ADHD, general life stressors, or personal growth. I completed my APA accredited internship at University of Southern California and post-doctoral hours in private practice. I have been trained in a number of evidenced-based and research informed practices and I pull from these to inform care.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is kind, honest, and transparent. I believe that individuals come to therapy to hear the truth and find meaning.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I use a flexible but collaborative approach to treatment and truly enjoy my clients and career.
