About Dr. Kai Garner

Kai grew up in the Mini-Cassia area in Rupert, ID where he spent most of his time outdoors working and playing. He learned to value hard work as he spent summers working on the farm and doing construction projects. Kai has a long history and great passion for athletics and pursued a football career as a walk-on quarterback at Brigham Young University. Kai completed his undergraduate education with a bachelors degree in exercise science and a minor in business management from BYU. He went on to graduate with his doctor of physical therapy degree from Franklin Pierce University in Arizona. Kai found his passion and desire to go into physical therapy after a personal sports injury and spending time around the training room at BYU. He is passionate about functional training, sports medicine, human performance, and orthopedic rehabilitation. His favorite part about physical therapy is working with people and helping them find more joy and pleasure in their work, sport, and daily activities while being pain free. Kai, his wife Madison, and their family love to spend time outdoors camping, hunting, hiking, and playing all kinds of sports. Kai’s favorite hobbies include CrossFit, dirt biking, boating, skiing, hunting, football, and basketball. He also loves to travel with his family learn about and explore new places.
