What should a new client know about working with you?

**Please read before booking*** I accept Aetna insurance and out of pocket clients (for Aetna, see section below on Aetna and Headway for billing) I am also only seeing clients by telehealth (no in person appointments currently available). Once you book with me, I will reach out to you by phone or email to confirm your appointment, send you intake paper work, and get you access to our secure telehealth platform. Please keep an eye out for my call or email so that we can get you started. Please take time to fill out the paper work before the appointment and be in a confidential location so we can fully discuss what brings you in. For Aetna Insurance: I use Headway to manage my billing and admin work so that I can place all of my focus on our work together. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you. The Headway team will reach out with an email to help you set up your account and add your insurance and payment details. You'll see your cost per session ahead of time and can check your benefits through the client portal. The process of verifying your insurance takes between 3 - 5 days so I recommend we schedule out our first apt 3 - 5 days out so that we can make sure you know your insurance benefits and costs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

At Vibrant and Whole, I specialize in evidence-based techniques to help you reach your goals. During our first visit, we will take time to really understand where you are coming from, what you are experiencing, and what you want out of treatment. Afterall, you are the expert in your experience and what is important to you. With that information in hand, we create individualized treatment plans that integrate your values, life objectives, and evidence-based interventions to fully address your concerns. Subsequent sessions focus on learning new skills and practicing them in your everyday life. We do this because research shows that the clients who get the most out of therapy are the ones who practice skills regularly.
