Getting to know Dr. Kelly Hamoudah

Hello! I'm Dr. Kelly Hamoudah, a licensed clinical psychologist in Illinois. I earned my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis on behavioral medicine from Adler University in Chicago. I work with individuals experiencing both mental health conditions-such as anxiety, panic, depression, ADHD, OCD, and stress management-and physical health conditions including chronic pain, cancer, end-of-life care, insomnia, and gastrointestinal issues. In my work, I believe that establishing a safe space and building rapport is the first step toward healing. I then collaborate with clients to assess their current situation along with related thought patterns and behaviors. Through this cognitive and behavioral assessment, I'm able to introduce appropriate interventions to help you feel better mentally and/or physically. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing with my dog, gardening, traveling, and cooking!

What should a new client know about working with you?

I collaborate with my clients and enjoy providing psychoeducation on the mind-body relationship. In our sessions, you’ll see that I have a very natural and friendly relational style within my work and focus on building healthy relationships with my clients. You will also notice I use evidence based treatment interventions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
