I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with a Master's in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern University and experience working at non-profits, residential programs, private practices, and school environments. I have worked with a wide range of individuals, from adolescents to geriatric clients, as well as groups and families. I am an LGBTQ+ friendly clinician and advocate. Some therapeutic modalities that I incorporate into my approach include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, acceptance and commitment therapy, and narrative therapy. I am trained in exposure response prevention and specialize in working with obsessive-compulsive disorder. I have experience supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, trauma, intellectual and physical disabilities, relationship difficulties, trouble communicating, developing identities, ADHD, and more. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, multicultural, strength-based, and client-centered. I provide a safe, non-judgmental, empathetic space for my clients to process difficult emotions and thoughts. My goal as a clinician is to encourage my clients to become the best versions of themselves and recognize their positive qualities.
What should a new client know about working with you?
My goal is for clients to feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and feelings. I collaborate with clients to ensure their goals are being worked on. I encourage clients to recognize their strengths, feel empowered, and become the best version of themselves.
