About Dr. Kevin Cherry

Kevin was born and raised in Oroville, California. He received his associate degree from Butte College where he played collegiate football for two years. He later received a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University – Provo followed by his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah. He tells us, “I absolutely love my profession and all that it has to offer. Most of all, I love helping my patients return to their full functional capacity so that they can participate in the activities that they love. This passion stems from being highly involved in sports and outdoor activities growing up as well as the impact rehabilitation played in my life after injuring my knee playing football. After several years of professional practice, this passion has only grown. When I am not at work you will likely catch me spending time with my wife and three children and/or enjoying some time doing carpentry, watching college football and hiking” Kevin’s training and professional focus is in orthopedic physical therapy. He strives to provide the best care possible by continuing education in evidence-based treatment and refining treatment skills on a frequent basis.
