Intelligent, professional, caring. and compassionate. These are all necessary when trying to recover because different modes of therapy were tried and utilized specifically to my condition, Kim is simply the best. I had the occasion to interact with Terry at the front desk who coordinates therapy sessions. Terry is excellent in her position. Professional and helpful at all times. About Kimberly Cipriano Afordakos

I graduated from Seton Hall University with my bachelor's degree in 2001 and earned my Doctor of Physical Therapy from Rowan University in 2003. I worked as a full-time physical therapist at Optimum Orthopedics in Lyndhurst, NJ, from 2003 to 2016, when they were acquired by Professional Physical Therapy. I continued working in Lyndhurst, becoming the clinical director until I transferred to our East Hanover facility in 2019. Over my career, I have treated patients of all ages, including part-time work as a school physical therapist from 2003 to 2015, focusing on children with gross motor delays and congenital neuromuscular conditions. I currently treat primarily orthopedic-related conditions, using a variety of skills and techniques such as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, kinesiotaping, joint mobilization, and corrective exercise prescription. When I am not working, I enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors with my family.
