About Kinjal Markana

With over 15 years of experience as a physical therapist, I have dedicated my career to empowering women through specialized care in pelvic floor physical therapy and women’s health. Holding both a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Master’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, I began my journey in outpatient orthopedics, where I built a strong clinical foundation during the first several years of my practice. My commitment to advancing my expertise led me to achieve board certifications as both an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS). Over the past decade, my passion for women’s health has deepened, inspiring me to focus on addressing the unique challenges women face during various stages of life, including pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and beyond. As both a clinician and a mother of two, I understand the physical and emotional journey many women experience. This perspective, combined with specialized training through various courses like Herman & Wallace, has helped me grow into a compassionate and highly skilled pelvic floor therapist. I have had the privilege of helping countless women overcome conditions such as diastasis recti, vaginismus, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, and pre- and post-partum rehabilitation challenges. My goal is to empower women to reclaim their confidence and well-being through personalized, evidence-based care. Outside the clinic, I enjoy cooking and spending time with my family. I am deeply passionate about raising awareness around women’s health and helping women better understand and care for their bodies from a physical therapy perspective.
