What should a new client know about working with you?
We are a psychology practice that understands the substantial challenges modern families face. To best support you, & your family, we offer online teletherapy. We are committed to providing expert care at your convenience. Our specialties include: adult, adolescent, child, couple, & family therapy and psychological testing including bariatric assessments.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
My approach is to provide compassionate and research-based therapy. I offer you a safe space to talk openly, without judgment, while we work together to find concrete strategies to improve your life. My goal is to empower you with the tools you need to navigate life's challenges, understand yourself better, and build the life you want. I want to lead you towards peace and healing.

Dr. Funasaki is a highly competent and empathetic psychologist who takes time to really listen and understand your situation. She was hugely helpful in helping us navigate the daily challenges of having "dad" and "mom" guilt whilst working full time work.

I had previously been hesitant about processing my trauma, but Dr. Funasaki-Fiene created a safe, non-judgmental space that allowed me to finally face it. Her use of EMDR was truly transformative. I feel lighter, and the intense anxiety I used to carry is finally manageable. I am so grateful for her expertise in trauma work.

Dr. Funasaki-Fiene has been outstanding. She is extremely easy to talk to, and has guided me in making better decisions for myself and my family. She is a great listener and encourages me to set weekly goals to make gradual improvements in my life.
