Getting to know Dr. Lauren Yang

Welcome! I provide individual and group psychotherapy for adults to improve their mental health and promote overall wellness. Currently, I serve Kaiser Permanente Northern California members. Beyond the therapy room, I support our community through mental health advocacy and mentorship for professional development. I am especially interested in supporting transitional aged youth and young adults in the Asian American community. As an Asian American cis woman with bipolar II disorder and clinical expertise, I speak on bipolar disorder from a cultural lens, challenges of mental health stigma and systemic issues for marginalized groups, and the practice of culturally responsive mental health care.
