Getting to know Lauryn Stillman

My name is Lauryn and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I received my Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, and I also have an Advanced Certificate in Victim Services from the same institution. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. Sometimes it is just helpful to see your own life from a different perspective. I use humor and warmth to make my clients comfortable to converse, but also place great importance on confronting the pertinent issues they struggle with. My main goal for my clients is to empower them to accept their own struggles, as well as believe that they are strong enough to make the necessary changes to live a happy and fulfilling life.
