What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. From an early age, I had an innate ability to hold space for others. I was often the person friends could turn to with the parts of themselves they didn't feel safe sharing elsewhere. Those moments let me witness firsthand the power of empathy and support, and they planted the seed for the work I do today. That lifelong desire to help others feel understood, accepted, and supported led me to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from Amherst College, and then a Master of Social Work from New York University. Each step deepened my understanding of what it means to truly show up for another person, and that understanding is what I bring into every session with you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Compassion and collaboration are the foundation of everything I do in the therapy room. I tailor my approach to your unique needs, goals, and experiences, because no two people, and no two paths, are the same. Working together, you can expect a space that is customized to your objectives and rooted in genuine human connection. I believe a strong collaborative relationship is key to promoting meaningful growth, and I draw on person-centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), among other evidence-based approaches, to help you develop insight and gain practical tools for navigating life's challenges.
