About Manthana Phothisatean

What got me into the Physical Therapy program in undergrad was my family. I was taking care of my grandmother who had a stroke, and I have always had an interest in how the human body works and functions. Being a Physical Therapist allows me to help people recover from injury, illness, and other age-related changes of the body. I earned my bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from Srinakharinwirot University in Thailand and worked for three years in a rehab hospital. I came to New York in 2016 to pursue my goal of learning more about new techniques and treatments to better my skills and knowledge. While working as a PTA, I was studying for my Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, which I earned in 2023 from the University of Montana. Some of my clinical interests include neurological dysfunction conditions, geriatrics, general orthopedics, and balance impairments. In my free time, I like to run, hike in national parks, practice yoga, and work out at the gym. I also enjoy gardening, planting, cooking, and trying new restaurants. I love to travel and explore new places with my partner.

Fleetwood Mount Vernon Starpro office is a very welcoming location for physical therapy. From the reception area to the therapy room, I am in a very relaxing environment! Every therapist is professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. I am very fortunate to have Manthana as my therapist. She is always smiling and makes me comfortable as I follow her demonstration and explanation of my needed therapies. How lucky I am to know both Manthana and Malik.Thanks to this location, I am feeling that I have regained my strength and movement as well as becoming more knowledgeable of my exercises.I have and will continue to recommend this location for therapeutic needs.

I came to Star Pro physical therapy after my surgery in my spine. I truly thought I would never get out of this pain put my therapist Manthana told me to hang in there and she would get me better. After almost 3 months of therapy she did exactly that she knew exactly what to do and today I am just about pain-free because of her incredible knowledge. Thank you Star Pro for your professionalism and thank you Manthana for changing my life. I will be forever grateful.
