She completed an Orthopedic Residency program through Professional Physical Therapy/NYIT and is a board-certified Orthopedic Specialist (OCS). She holds her Strength and Conditioning Certification (CSCS) as well as numerous other certifications. Dr. Johnson is now part of the clinical staff for the Professional Physical Therapy/NYIT residency program and serves as a mentor in the Novice Mentor program provided by Professional Physical Therapy. Meredith is an APTA-credentialed clinical instructor and enjoys working with student physical therapists as well as residents. She also reviews articles for publications. Stemming from her clinical experiences with Olympic and elite athletes, she has developed a strong passion for treating the tactical population and elite athletes. She has volunteered for the Warrior Games as medical staff, which allowed her the opportunity to work with multiple branches of the U.S. Military as well as military veterans from other countries.
