About Michael Berlam

Michael is originally from Mystic, Connecticut. He earned his undergraduate degree in 2013 at the University of Central Florida in Health Sciences. He continued his education at UCF and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. During his final year of school, Michael conducted research on injuries to the adolescent gymnast and presented his study at the UCF Graduate Research Forum. Peachtree Orthopedics welcomed Michael in the summer of 2017. Michael is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Physical Therapy Association of Georgia, and the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Section of the APTA. Michael enjoys working with athletes of all ages. He has a special interest in rehabilitating and preventing injuries of the unstable hip and shoulder as well as return to play for the athletic knee. Michael is an avid golfer and in his free time he enjoys experimenting with various cooking styles for his friends and family.
