Miho is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist with over 20 years of experience. She warmly welcomes young adults and adults at any stage of life to her practice in New Jersey and New York, offering both in-person and remote sessions to clients in both states. With a dedicated focus on individuals shaped by multiple cultural influences, Miho possesses deep understanding of the emotional challenges and cultural diversity experienced by first, one-and-a-half, and second-generation Asian immigrants. Her clients include international students and those raised in intercultural relationships or with exposure to diverse cultural values. Some of Miho's specialities are in the following areas: -Anxiety: Assisting clients in managing excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; addressing social anxiety and panic disorder symptoms. For our initial session, we'll schedule a meeting to help you assess if we're a good fit. During this session, my focus will be on getting to know you and understanding your needs. For couples therapy, we'll begin with a joint session for both partners, followed by individual sessions to gain deeper insight into each of you. Subsequently, we'll continue the couples therapy journey together.
